Thanks to his business background and experience, he has represented some of the most prominent companies from the United States and Europe, as well as large-scale global clients, in a wide range of cross-border transactions and complex commercial contract negotiations. This has led him to participate in projects across all Central American countries. In addition, he regularly advises companies on strategic, corporate, and government affairs matters.

He is a contributing author of the book Leadership for Lawyers: Essential Leadership Strategies for Law Firm Success (Globe Law and Business), which explores the key elements of leadership in law firms. He has also had the privilege of being invited to deliver more than twenty keynote presentations at international forums, including the International Bar Association (IBA), the world’s largest and most influential organization of legal professionals. Through his international experience as a professor, researcher, author, and speaker, he has been recognized as one of Latin America’s leading experts in the management of professional services firms.

As part of his leadership in business and active citizenship issues, he was named an associate of the Coalition of Development Initiatives (CINDE), the world's leading investment promotion agency. He is also Director of the global Board of Directors of TAG Alliances, an international network that brings together the most prominent legal and accounting firms, Director of the Administrative Board of the Paniamor Foundation and Director of the Board of Directors of the Business Association for Development (AED), the main business association in Costa Rica.
