Marcos, in addition to being the managing partner of the office ALTA Guatemala, leads the practice of mergers and acquisitions. He specializes in corporate and transactional matters, financing, investment funds, dispute resolution, among others, representing important national and international entities.
He has extensive experience in agency, distribution and franchising agreements, both in establishing new relationships and in managing the complexities that frequently accompany the termination of these relationships.
Recently, he has been extensively involved in the area of competition law, preparing local business groups to compete under a new regulatory environment, resulting from the recent approval of a Competition Law in Guatemala.
